A series of films about the functions, the influence and the effect of the photographic.*

April 18   –   April 25, 2015

In various genres and formats, the series outlines the influence and effect of the photographic on the perception of the world since the medium was invented. The film series will feature works by Stefanie Schroeder (*1981) and Elmar Mauch (*1961). Schroeder studied i.a. at the HGB Leipzig under Joachim Brohm. Elmar Mauch works as a picture researcher and artist at the interface between photography and film. Works by both artists have already been represented in exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
